Meet the 2010 Board of Directors

There are currently five open seats for the Board of Directors bringing the total number of board members from five to seven. The following individuals are the talented candidates for these five open seats.

Dean Wickstrom

Dean Wickstrom is a brand new board member of Northcountry Cooperative FCU. He has been active in the credit union industry, serving on a variety of committees of the Minnesota Credit Union Network, including the political impact committee, the Credit Union Preservation Project, and board of directors. An advocate for small credit unions, he faithfully supports those organizations. He formed a marketing subsidiary to provide high quality marketing primarily to small credit unions and obtained a grant from the National Credit Union Foundation to assist in the effort.

Pam O'Connell

Pam O'Connell is a brand new board member of Northcountry Cooperative FCU and passionately believes in Credit Unions and their mission. For the past 30 years, she has been both a member of and worked for credit unions. She has volunteered in numerous areas that complement the mission of credti unions. She was on the board of CU Companies, MnCUN, River Heights Chamber of Commerce and Neigbors, Inc. With her experience and background, she understands both the inner workings and the challenges of a credit union, includeing the economic stresses placed on them.
